I spent four years in New Hampshire with my two dogs, Missy and Prince, earning my BA in Psychology at UNH while gaining hands-on experience with animals at the surrounding farms and stables.

My favorite place to visit on school breaks was the New England Aquarium, and for several years I volunteered in many of its departments. I was most excited when I got to work with the seals and sea lions. That experience convinced me to pursue a career with animals full-time.
