We are Michael and Kim LaRoche…

…and we own and operate Pampered Puppies in Wellesley, MA. We affectionately call dogs of all ages "puppies" — because we believe every puppy deserves a little pampering, a friendly atmosphere, and a safe place to be themselves.

Why "Puppies"?

Besides our obvious love for dogs, we couldn't find the quality products and services we wanted for our own Portuguese Water Dogs, Pilot & Gypsy, without driving long distances to breeders or handlers. If we needed it, we figured other dog owners did too — and that was the spark.

From Our Garage to Linden Square

Michael spent 25+ years as an international management consultant and software executive. Kim spent just as long as a commercial lender. After decades helping other companies hit their goals, we decided it was time to build something of our own.

Pampered Puppies started in our garage in Wellesley in June 2018. Within a month we knew we were onto something — we'd found a real, unmet need, and we needed room to grow. We opened our storefront in April 2019, and we've been growing ever since.

Still Local, Still Personal

Today, Pampered Puppies is run by a team of experienced, fellow dog lovers who are happy to talk through anything — behavior, food, treats, supplements, shampoo, or our favorite gear. We're located in the historic Linden Square Shopping District, right across from everyone's favorite deli, The Linden Store.
