Katelyn Fornaro, Groomer

Hi, I'm Katie! I was born and raised in Boston and grew up loving animals. My favorite place to visit on school breaks was the New England Aquarium, and for several years I volunteered in many of its departments. I was most excited when I got to work with the seals and sea lions. That experience convinced me to pursue a career with animals full-time.

In 2017 I had the opportunity to train as a dog groomer at Petco. I worked there for more than five years and built a loyal following of clients and their dogs. Eventually I became the leader of the salon. Like many groomers, I came to want a smaller, more personal setting, so in 2022 I joined an independent shop in Boston's South End. There I worked with many breeds I hadn't seen before, and I knew I had made the right choice.

Now I have joined the grooming team at Pampered Puppies. They are a very experienced group, and I look forward to taking my skills to the next level. Every dog has its own comfort level, and earning that trust is my favorite part of the work. Please stop by and say hello. I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful fur baby!
